(More customer reviews)Richard Hell's writing has the effect of stopping me dead in my tracks after every third sentence or so, to accommodate some new point of view, or hallucinatory image, or just to laugh at the sheer madness of it. I particularly enjoyed the open-hearted, wickedly truthful eulogies (of Johnny Thunders, and other fallen comrades ), the journal entries, and ~ the song lyrics are all here as well. Along with his full-length novel 'Go Now', this is essential Hell - and the drawings and photos are a bonus(and, probably ensure that you won't be finding a copy at the county library!).
