(More customer reviews)I saw this on sale in a bookstore right before Christmas several years back and because I love Simon Dewy as an artist, and Hilary Weeks as a songwriter, I begged my mother to get it for me for Christmas (something I usually would NEVER do). My dear angel mother obliged and I got it for Christmas. I then proceeded to listen to each song while following along in the book (the words correspond with the pictures). I instantly got goosebumps, and was in tears before the end of the first song. The music and the pictures are lovely and powerful alone, but together they create one of the most powerful experiences.
It is a fantastic value simply for the pictures, but the 5 songs by Hilary Weeks really make this book a must for any Christian home. I also love that the cd is inside the book in a clear sleeve so it doesn't get lost. The only thing I found even slightly noteworthy for any negative, was the fact that the CD titles are mixed up a little when you put it on the computer to listen to, I don't know why, and it doesn't bother me, but I can see how it could be frustrating to someone who wanted the accurate titles on the computer. There is a list of the exact names, and copyright dates in the back of the book though, so that one could correct the names.
It has been at least three years since that Christmas when I received this amazing book and I still have and love it, and yes, it still makes me cry :)
