(More customer reviews)Among the many excellent analogies Mrs. Lotz draws from John's Gospel, I especially appreciated the life lessons drawn from Christ's first miracle -- turning water into wine at a marriage feast. Just as the wine at that feast disappeared glass by glass, so does love and zest for living quietly slip away in our own lives. Jesus Christ continues to work miracles in our day when we ask him to replace the "wine" in our own lives and refill us with joy and love. Mrs. Lotz is a master as seeing these valuable "life lessons" in every chapter of the book of John, on which her latest book, "Just Give Me Jesus," was based.
