(More customer reviews)I would have reviewed this product sooner, had I only been able to install and use it in some kind of efficient manner. But no. It has the worst excuse for a manual I have ever seen, which is quite a surprise. I have had the free versions of another Steinberg product Cubase (LE?) and the manual included with the software is very good. No so with Sequel2. It took several people and many hours to find a setting deep within the software that enabled my Presonus Firewire box to communicate with the software. And this we discovered only through hints in the Cubase manual--there was almost nothing about trouble shooting or installation in the printed Sequel2 manual. The program itself, which now appears to be working, is basically a GarageBand clone, which is fine, but prospective buyers should consider that if they went the Mac route with either GarageBand or Logic, the hardware and software would talk to each other with no problem. No so with Windows stuff. Unless you already have a big PC laying around as I did, I would avoid this product and go the the Mac and its related software. A loser that could have been fine if Steinberg had written a decent manual.
