I've bought several "how to play" fiddle videos that start with the Mary had a Little Lamb concept and sounds nothing like fiddle playing. This video isn't like that. You get to hear how the piece of music should sound and then walked thru the notes on the fiddle. Then you work on bowing technique. This video improved my understanding after the first song. I highly recommend it. Well worth the money. I've already ordered volume 2 and hope there is a volume 3 someday. If you want to learn how to play old time fiddle get it, you won't be sorry.
