(More customer reviews)My 3 1/2 yr old daughter got this for Christmas and i was excited! We started using it for our bed time reading. She become obsessed with the violence of it. It does paraphrase and shorten the stories but for some reason it leaves the death and killing intact. It is 'weird' how it uses kind voices and a gentle tone to say things like "lets kill him and throw him in an empty well" (spoken by joseph's brother).
Some parents may be alright with this but we don't let our kids watch violent television until they can understand the content.
