(More customer reviews)At first sight the video is a bit dated (think 80s style). However both my 2 year old and 8 year old enjoy it.
Basically you have a dvd and audio cd with songs where the lines are song in both languages multiple times. Sometimes German is first and sometimes English. There are lots of songs (20+?) on a variety of basic topics such as numbers, animals, birthdays, going to the beach, alphabet, etc.
I think it could be hard to learn German from these - especially for beginners, but it is great for kids with some familiarity in German. I would put the level at least at intermediate. My daughter is in an 'advanced' German class in an English school in Germany, but she doesn't enjoy German. I got these cds to help encourage her and give her more practice. I think bilingual kids would enjoy it just because they get to hear both languages. However, truly bilingual kids won't have the same need.

This title is for ages 4 plus. It is now available in this complete, 70-minute DVD format. It also includes an audio CD with all 21 bilingual songs with a full-colour Lyric Book in U-print format on disc.
