(More customer reviews)My family has really appreciated Andrew Peterson's Christmas album, so a book from one of the songs on that album was of immediate interst to us. The lyrics which are the backbone of this book come from a song tracing the genealogy of Jesus as found in Matthew's gospel. If you can do that in an interesting way in a kids' book you have accomplised something! And Peterson does it. He includes little "Did you know?" facts along the way on various people in the genealogy. This is a fun and educational book. It also comes with a CD of the song.
