Another great Wolpe arrangment bringing the 1953 Doris Day popularized ballad from Calamity Jane to an up-temp feature for the trombone section. This is a full 5-4-4-4 arrangement with additional/optional parts for things like vibes and tuba, and also includes Bb instrument parts (for Bariton Horn TC, or Tenor Sax) to dup/cover the tromobone parts if needed. The arrangement features the trombones both as a soli section with warm blended 4-part harmony of the melody, and then splits and gives each of the four tromobones a chance to solo. Music has optional written solos included with the chords (written solos are similar, but not identical to the demo recording). Good for any high school or better band, but playable by a good middle school band as well. Arrangment swings nicely and comes together quickly even if you've never heard of the song before. Kudos to Dave Wolpe for another fine arrangement.
