(More customer reviews)I'm surprised to see that this book is no longer available direct from Amazon - it's one of my favorites to read with the young children I teach. Based on a Mexican/South American game (there are many versions), the animals keep pausing in their revels to ask, "Oh, Wolf! Are you there?" and he says "I am putting on my underpants" (the kids' favorite, of course), or "my pants," or "my shirt," etc. I have the children join in on the chant "Oh Wolf! Are you there?" and they love it. The ending is a fun surprise - the wolf is there, and ready to eat - pancakes! Cute illustrations too. Really wonderful book.
