(More customer reviews)A big follower of the words and music of Paul Simon since 1967, with over 15 bound volumes of articles and notes and many other published books, I was delighted to see that Dr. Bennighof would be putting out a book on Paul's songs--that is both lyrics and music and their intertwining. I immediately placed a pre-order with Amazon but had to wait and wait until the publishing date. Wow, was I amazed when I finally zipped through the book. Although for musicians--people familiar with music-- this is THE book on the subject of Simon Songs. I cannot imagine a more detailed, more complete, more ACCURATE rival. Every music library in America (and lots of us folks, too) should have a copy of this work to read and consult.
